LMS Stanier 4-6-0 Black 5 44728

18/05/1964 - LMS Stanier Black 5 44728 waits to leave Great Harwood station at 11.25 am on 1T58, a holiday special to the Southport.

Some of these trains were quite long and the engine had to pull forward so the end of the train could fit in the station for passengers to board.
